DMBQ van crash tragedy

ok, this is sad, but i just heard michelle cable and the band dmbq were in an accident in baltimore. The person who told me said the drummer China died in the crash. This is a tragedy of epic proportion. i feel honored to have been able to see China rock the drums like i have seldom seen anyone do it. what a bummer. well, there is talk of a bennefit show here in eureka to help michelle with medical expenses. contact amy or bandon at the works (eureka/arcata for info.

After having a band pow wow, we decided to take a break from the band for four months.

Hitch/Mos Generator split 7" underway!

Ok, the hitch news for now is the recording of a new song "Tounge in Cheek" has been completed, and mixed here in Eureka, and is currently up in Washington for some mastering. Expect some fresh Hitch/Mos vinyl within the next couple of months. I think the theme here is self made live rehersal space recordings.

Also in the works is a gig with Spledid Vengance August 13th at Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma, followed by a recording session in Bremmerton at Temple Sound for the next Hitch full length lp/cd.

Fed X/Hitch show at the alibi coming up July 24th. I'll keep ya posted on any new haps...
