Ok, just an update here. The blog is the only part of the site I am able to update these days, so any new content will most likely be here. The Dirty Power/Hitch show is coming up January 21st at The Alibi in Arcata. The 27th of January through the 30th we will be playing in Portland (Sabala's), Tacoma (Hell's Kitchen), Seattle (funhouse), and possibly in Port Angeles(zacks). I'll keep you posted... In other news, we will be getting a new Hitch site and host starting January 1st 2005. Ringing in the new year with a new site. So if there was any merch you wanted off the old site (this one) you better get it now, cause soon that shit will be gone forever! In other hitch idle chat, there is talk of a trip to Texas this spring to play with Dixie Witch and Honky. All for now...

Drunkhorse!

Great show at the Alibi last night with Drunkhorse, and The Hitch. Those horse dudes freaking rip! Great to see them finally come back to the Humboldt area after the saddening demise of the Vista scene. Hope they come back again soon. In other news, looks like we may loose our singer extraordinare, Melissa Medina. Bummer days, but the girl's got to put her energy where her heart lies. That's ok, and I hope we get a chance to record the songs we put together with her for posterity's sake, if nothing else. All for now.

good show last night at the alibi with Diesto from pdx. sorry i haven't updated the site in some time, but the server admin wont let me past it's gates. hence, i haven't been able to let you all know that the new hitch cd's are in stock and for sale. someday the streamguys will develop some form of customer service besides "you should download yet another ftp program..." in other news, the hitch cd's and lp's are availiable on stoner rock.com, and some shows are planned for this coming november. november 4rth dixie witch and the hitch at the 330 club. teusday november 16th drunk horse, and the hitch at the alibi in arcata as well. hopefully a trip to sf area in dedcember is in the works. rock on people...

"Ok if ya haven't herd yet. Amy and Steve snuck offand got married in vegas. We're on our happy-moonnow. Pulling a 24 foot Argosy travel trailer accrossthe south west.(argosy's are made by airstream but are painted.We're currently in New Mexico, getting ready to visitthe wild west town of Lincoln, the gila cliffdwellings, white sands nat'l monument, plus someother national parks. Then we make are way up throughutah to the four corners, and Monument valley andother nat'l monuments along the way. Then we plan ontaking the the loniest hwy in the us back to cali. We're having a blast and the new Chevy pulls thetrailor like a rock star on stage! Avg' 14mpg at acost of aprox .12 cents a mile!!! We've seen the grand cayon and hoover dam. Stopedby Arcosanti (Pablo Soleri's inovative urban center)and Frank Loyd Wrights Taliesin West. We hit Monolake and the Yuca Mountain info center and Tusayanruins along the way. Being on the road has been ablast and it reminds me of touring with the band abit. I always loved watching America stroll by andvisiting cool spots along the way as we toured andthis is kinda the same except no unloading and loadingof equipment. Well, some other things too but I don'twant to bore....We're learning a ton about Trailer life and RV sitesand KOA's and what 108 degres really feels like.oh and wirless internet acces ain't so bad seeing aswe can say hi to all y'all tonigh for 5 bucks:-)We miss ya and will see ya soon!xoxoxoxoThe Bohner's"

DMBQ rips up Arcata again.

Awesome show at cub 330 in Arcata tonight. DMBQ made me feel like I was tripping on some heavy acid man. Duuuuuuude. Also enjoyed seeing some support acts that show promise. The Great Salvation was great, as were The Monster Women. 3:15 am and time to hit the sack. Tired from standing all night on that hard cement floor, and my ears a ringing.

THE NEW ALBUM IS HERE! I haven't seen them with my own eyes yet, but have heard through the arcata grapevine that they arrived on Bohner's doorstep last week! Bad news is we forgot to order the cd's. So all of you without turntables will have to wait! Suckers.

It's finally done. New Hitch vinyl, and cd's. Recorded by Tony Dallas Reed at Temple Sound Studios in Bremmerton Washington. Sounds awesome. Check the sale page for updates next week.
